Editorial Policy

Who writes. Every article on FintechLex is written by Rene Philippe Raymond Dubout, from his own work on the files he describes. Articles carry his name, the date of publication and, when changed, the date of the last update.

Sources. Statements of law and regulation are checked against the official texts and decisions, which are linked at the end of each article where possible. Figures and dates are verified before publication.

Corrections. When we find an error, or a reader points one out, we correct it promptly and show the update date. Out-of-date articles are not deleted; they carry a notice at the top pointing to the current article.

Independence and interests. FintechLex also offers advisory services and lists companies for sale in its Marketplace, sometimes on subjects it writes about. Marketplace listings are clearly labelled. Insight articles explain; they do not sell.

Not advice. Articles are general information, not legal, tax or investment advice. Every situation is different and needs its own review.
