Who we are
FintechLex SA (Rue de Lausanne 94, 1202 Geneva, Switzerland) is responsible for the personal data collected on fintechlex.com. Contact for any privacy request: insight@fintechlex.com.
Which law applies
We apply the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection and, for visitors in the European Union, the EU General Data Protection Regulation.
What we collect
Only what you give us or what is needed to run the site: your name, email and message when you use a contact or WhatsApp form; your email and topics of interest when you sign up for the newsletter or the FintechLex app; and basic technical data (IP address, browser, pages visited) recorded by our hosting and security services.
Why
To answer you, to send the newsletter you asked for, to give you access to the app, to keep the site secure, and to understand which articles are read. We do not sell your data.
Who processes it for us
Our providers process data on our behalf, some outside Switzerland: newsletter (Brevo), WhatsApp contact form (WhatsForm), website hosting and security (Cloudflare). Where data leaves Switzerland or the EU, we rely on the safeguards provided by law, such as standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep it
As a general rule, we keep data for five years. Newsletter and app sign-ups are kept until you unsubscribe. Technical logs are kept only as long as needed for security, and never longer than five years.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, object to its use, or withdraw your consent at any time. Every newsletter has an unsubscribe link. Write to insight@fintechlex.com. You can also complain to the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner or, in the EU, to your national authority.
Cookies
The site uses cookies needed for it to work and may use audience-measurement cookies. You can refuse or delete cookies in your browser settings.
Changes
We may update this policy; the date of the last update appears at the top of the page.
